What the diving is actually like

You come straight to the dock at Muelle Fiscal, where the boat, the crew and all the gear are already waiting for you. From there it is a scenic ride out to the dive sites around Isla Espíritu Santo and the bay of La Paz.

You do two dives, and the sites are confirmed on the day — the captain and the dive masters have been working this bay for years, so they pick the best water available that morning. Between the two dives you refuel with snacks and drinks on board during the surface interval, and lunch comes once the diving is done.

You do not need a certification to dive

✓Never dived before? The Discover Scuba dive is made for exactly that — a first dive with an instructor beside you, and no certificate needed.

✓Already certified? Bring your card and take the shared two-tank tour: two dives around Isla Espíritu Santo and the bay, gear included.

✓All the gear is on board. BCD, regulator, mask, fins and weights come with the tour, and you get fitted for them before the boat leaves the dock.

How the day goes

18:30 am — Meet at Muelle FiscalMeet your crew, sign the liability waivers and get fitted for your dive gear. Then board and settle in for the ride out.

210:30 am – 12:30 pm — Two divesTwo dives on sites confirmed that morning. Between them there is a surface interval on board, with snacks and drinks.

31:00 pm — LunchLunch once the diving is done, with time to sit in the sun and dry off.

42:00 pm — Back to La PazThe run back across the bay, with the panoramic views of the Sea of Cortez on the way in.

5Around 3:30 pm — Back at the dockThe whole day runs 6.5 to 7 hours from the moment you board.
